I'm in the House

It has been a long time since I have been tending my virtual house. However, after a long break (and Spring and Summer cleaning) I am ready to get back to happy pass times.

I only have a few things that I am going to post today, both are Internet challenges. I have been hard pressed for fun reasons to share my work and I have always been curious about challenges. I have a layout that I created for Scrapping the Music.

This LO is really simple; I used a sheet of Basic Grey PP, embellished it with some flowers from My Mind's Eye, alphas, and some glitter glue. It was a really great project to get my feet wet again.

I also tried my first photography challenge at Two Peas in a Bucket. The challenge is capture an image of something 'on the vine.' I took my trusty Rebel outside to the garden and this is what I saw:

Just like my tomatoes I am going to keep this small and sweet. As always thanks for looking.

The Non-Traditional Scrapper

What happens if that doesn't match you personality? I am trying to find a good compromise. Some days I am The Decemberists, beautiful poetic melancholy, and some days I feel a little Sasha Fierce.

Perhaps this is good thing. Time will tell.

There is definitely a disconnect from the papers and embellishments and hipster culture. Pretty is as pretty does. How does sleek do in the equation?

And finally, the LayOut. It has Basic Grey PP, Cosmo Cricket PP, Prima Flowers, Brads, and Amy Butler Crepe Paper Borders.
